Feist--its at least a couple of words in one.
Earlier, a related post from another person in the Purdue program had mentioned Feist as an up and coming group.--they are that, and more importantly, they have this, and, more importantly, this. There is a certain sense of joy and cold interest in much of what they do which makes what they do damned interesting. It's something sadly missing from regular radio.

The first reminded not surprisingly of the OK Go video on treadmills, while the second I had visions of Abba, Gap commercials, and there near the end a Rugby scrum (I think that is what it is called). I did enjoy the music, and I would say the singer reminds me of the chanteuse in Nouvelle Vague, but I wouldn't want you to think I found this derivative in any way, shape, or form.
That's so funny! Another blog I read all the time posted the second video, and I thought to myself, I need to find out more about this group. Turns out, I already have Let It Die on my external hard drive (a goldmine of pirated - don't tell - music from friends), so I've been listening and the last couple days.
